About the role

The Sr. Technical Program Manager – Server Hardware Engineering, Mainstream Compute and Accelerators is responsible for leading multiple simultaneous hardware product development programs in a highly cross-functional environment. The role involves providing leadership in the application of new technologies to large scale server deployments, ensuring a world-class customer experience at a world-class cost point. This position requires collaboration with various teams across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security, and to provide seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in the application of new technologies to large scale server deployments in a continuous effort to deliver a world-class customer experience at a world-class cost point.
  • Collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
  • Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering.
  • Experience managing complex hardware systems and programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Extensive experience managing complex hardware systems and programs, building processes, complicated schedules with many dependencies, identifying risks, trade-offs, designing 2-way doors

Qualifications

Pay

Base salary range for this position is listed below. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

  • USA, CA, Cupertino - 171,000.00 - 231,400.00 USD annually
  • USA, TX, Austin - 148,700.00 - 201,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Seattle - 148,700.00 - 201,200.00 USD annually

Schedule

Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
