The Sr. Technical Program Manager – Server Hardware Engineering, Mainstream Compute and Accelerators plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI. They lead multiple simultaneous hardware product development programs, applying new technologies to large-scale server deployments. The position involves collaborating with various teams across AWS to deliver high-quality customer experiences at competitive costs.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple simultaneous hardware product development programs in a highly cross-functional environment
- Apply new technologies to large-scale server deployments
- Provide leadership in the application of new technologies to large-scale server deployments
- Drive and measure process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness
- Work independently in a dynamic, challenging, and fast-changing organization
- Define and execute processes that deliver both savings and productivity for Amazon
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
- Experience managing complex hardware systems and programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent; 7+ years of technical product or program management experience; 7+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience; experience building and evaluating system-level technical design; experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering; experience managing complex hardware systems and programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership; experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition; extensive experience managing complex hardware systems and programs, building processes, complicated schedules with many dependencies, identifying risks, trade-offs, designing 2-way doors
