About the role
The Senior ServiceNow Application Developer IT Asset Management (ITAM) serves as a senior level technical authority within the enterprise ServiceNow platform, with deep specialization in Hardware Asset Management Pro (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
Responsibilities
- Design, Develop, install, and troubleshoot ServiceNow applications
- Own the end to end IT Asset Management architecture within ServiceNow, with particular focus on:
- HAM Pro: procurement orchestration, receiving, inventory, asset lifecycle management, transfers, and disposals
- SAM: entitlement management, license compliance, software normalization, reconciliation, and audit defense
- Integration development and maintenance
- Continuous knowledge gathering related to current ServiceNow functionality as well as future releases
- Aid in training, documentation, and overall support
- Identify bugs/defects and resolutions to ensure platform functions as designed
- Lead complex ServiceNow development using:
- Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies
- Flow Designer and Integration Hub/Workflow Data Fabric
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Education/Certifications
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or programming preferred or relevant work experience
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Development (CAD) required
- ServiceNow CIS HAM, SAM, ITSM or ITOM
- ITIL v4 (preferred)
- Work Experience
- 5+ years experience developing and operating ServiceNow
- 2+ years in a ServiceNow senior developer role
- Up-to-date knowledge of different programming languages, such JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and CSS
- Knowledge of ITIL Processes
- Proficiency in ServiceNow applications like, ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, and CMDB
- Knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices and other backend development
- Working knowledge of database systems

$110,681.00 - $156,337.00 per year
