Sr. ServiceNow Developer
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including customizations and integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and user guides.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth.
- Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and actively participate in design discussions.
- Perform Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations to improve IT operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration required.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS required.
- Strong understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes, including workflows and automation required.
- Proven experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM (IT Service Management), CSM (Customer Service Management also called PSDS), and HAM (Hardware Asset Management) required.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist) highly desired.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams required.
- 6 years of ServiceNow platform expertise (development, configuration, integration) required.
- 6 years of JavaScript and scripting knowledge required.
- 6 years of API integration (REST/SOAP web services) required.
- 6 years of ITSM and ITOM process optimization required.
- 6 years of ITSM, CSM, HAM, and FSM experience required.
- 6 years of Agile/Scrum project delivery required.
- 6 years of technical documentation and system design required.
- 6 years of troubleshooting and analytical thinking required.
