This role will provide senior development and solution leadership, focusing on secure, accurate, and scalable visibility of AWS environments within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery, CMDB, AWS cloud environments, and cloud governance, along with the ability to mentor junior developers and communicate technical solutions to stakeholders.5 Days onsite in Woodlawn, MD and In-person interview requiredKey ResponsibilitiesLead configuration and troubleshooting of ServiceNow Discovery for AWS, including MID Servers, discovery schedules, credentials, and custom cloud discovery patterns.Discover and maintain multi-account AWS environments using ServiceNow, ensuring accurate CMDB relationships across organizations, accounts, regions, VPCs, EC2, and IAM resources.Create and maintain cloud identification rules, reconciliation logic, and CMDB data quality controls for AWS assets.Implement and support AWS authentication and authorization models used by ServiceNow, including IAM roles, access policies, and STS.Design architecture roadmaps and operational documentation supporting ITOM and cloud governance objectives.Assist with technical prototyping, solution reviews, and requirements discussions with business and technical stakeholders.Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams, cloud discovery patterns, and operational reporting.Troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery and AWS integration issues and implement appropriate technical solutions.Mentor ServiceNow developers and contribute to overall platform maturity and development standards.Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure ServiceNow solutions meet security, operational, and business requirements.Required Qualifications7+ years of professional ServiceNow development experience.Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent relevant experience.Hands-on experience across ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Discovery.Working knowledge of AWS Organizations, AWS Accounts, VPC networking, EC2, IAM, and multi-account resource relationships.Hands-on experience discovering AWS cloud environments using ServiceNow Discovery and MID Servers.Practical understanding of how ServiceNow uses IAM, temporary credentials, and cross-account roles for cloud discovery and scanning.Experience developing system architecture diagrams, cloud discovery patterns, and operational reporting.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions clearly to stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).ServiceNow CIS certifications in Discovery, Service Mapping, ITSM, or ITOM.Experience supporting federal agencies or large-scale public-sector programs.Experience with JavaScript, REST/SOAP integrations, and workflow automation.Experience mentoring junior developers and providing technical leadership.Experience with enterprise cloud governance and modernization initiatives.Why Join 4A Be part of a mission-driven, women-owned consulting firm with a reputation for excellence.Work on high-impact projects across federal and commercial clients.Collaborate in an inclusive, growth-oriented culture where innovation is valued.Access career development programs, mentorship, and learning opportunities.Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, flexible work options, and a focus on work-life balance.Equal Opportunity Statement4A Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to an inclusive hiring process.
