Sr. Principal Technical Program Manager (Hybrid - Seattle, WA)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Principal Technical Program Manager (hybrid - Seattle Wa) to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a consumer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for large, cross-functional technical programs
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to set strategy and roadmaps
• Lead teams through planning, build, testing, launch, and support phases
• Influence senior leaders to drive decisions without direct authority
• Manage risks across programs proactively
• Use data and metrics to guide decisions and report to leadership
• Mentor other TPMs and program managers

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical program management or closely related field
• Proven experience leading complex, multi-team programs from start to finish
• Ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities
• Technical background to engage in architecture and design discussions

Compensation: $200,500 – $332,000 annually
