Sr. Manager, Debit Horizontal Management (Hybrid)
About the role
The Enterprise Payments (EP) Debit Operations team within the Retail Bank is seeking a proactive Senior Manager to lead the Debit Horizontal Management function. This role encompasses strategy, operations, and risk management for Debit payment types.
Responsibilities
Leverage problem-solving and influencing skills to collaborate across teams and develop resolution to Debit-related events.
Drive disciplined execution and continuous improvement across processes, controls, and operational practices to deliver consistent outcomes.
Identify opportunities to streamline current monitoring processes.
Manage and influence third-party relationships with sound judgment and persistent drive.
Elevate Debit payment issues to Senior Management when necessary.
Requirements

Foster a culture of empowerment by providing clarity, trust, and support with clear direction and accountability to deliver strong outcomes.
Collaborate with ecosystem partners (Advisors, Operations, Initiation) on routines and lead insightful discussions with leadership.
Ensure major risks are escalated to Senior Management for timely resolution.
Foster connections with ecosystem partners to establish routines for monitoring operational metrics, controls, and risks that inform critical leadership discussions.
Generate strategic insights and maintain essential processes for Debit operations.
Lead the design and implementation of governance and strategic management across all Debit payment channels.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
At least 3 years of People Management experience
At least 5 years of Process Management experience
At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal and external business clients
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree
At least 5 years experience with multiple payment types
At least 5 years of experience in risk, compliance or audit
At least 6 years of Process Management experience leading cross functional programs

Pay
Salaries for this role vary by location, ranging from $149,000 - $187,100 annually.
Schedule
This role is Hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in-office and 2 days per week remote.
