Sr. Manager, Business Development - Hotel Partnerships
Overview
Capital One Travel is improving the travel journey for our cardholders with innovative benefits, features, and experiences. The Hotel Supply team is looking for a sales leader to build and deepen relationships with hotel chain partners to unlock value for our cardholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development across incremental and existing hotel chains
- Identify key trends and partnership opportunities in the hospitality industry
- Support industry relations and agent engagement
- Collaborate on key growth opportunities to drive benefit usage and growth
- Work closely with Product, Strategy, and Well-managed functions to deliver benefit programs
- Able to travel for business development meetings, including representation of the company at tradeshows and conferences as necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- At least 10 years of experience within partner management, account development, or business development with a focus on building and managing partnerships
- At least 5 years of experience in a business development position working with a portfolio of global chains
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or MBA degree
- 7+ years of experience and a successfully proven track record in B2B sales and business development within the luxury travel or hospitality industry
- 5+ years of experience in a business development leadership role in the hotel or travel industry
- 3+ years experience in management and leadership responsibility driving a business development or sales capacity with proven track record of success
Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
