Key job responsibilities

  • Create innovative, award-winning, and effective 360° creative advertising campaigns that drive viewership of Amazon Prime Video Studios’ original series and movies.
  • Maintain a strong point of view (POV) and creative vision, providing clear, concise direction to internal and external partners.
  • Craft high-level creative briefs and presentation decks.
  • Prepare photo shoot briefs, sketches, and comps that effectively communicate concepts and campaign direction.
  • Drive consensus for your campaigns by clearly articulating creative strategies and presenting concepts to peers, senior studio leadership, and executive producers/filmmakers.
  • Solve cross-functional business, customer, and stakeholder requirements while creating breakthrough creative work.
  • Think globally and across platforms, mastering the idiosyncrasies of each to create tailored content that drives marketing objectives.
  • Strive to create first-to-market ideas that raise the bar.
  • Lead the execution of key campaign creative assets within budget and on time.
  • Elevate the creative output of internal resources and agency partners to ensure all marketing assets meet high standards of creativity, innovation, and brand association.
  • Manage highly visible and complex projects with wide impact across the business, spanning multiple territories, teams, and platforms.
  • Forecast resourcing needs and work with key stakeholders to drive project schedules while prioritizing and using resources effectively.
  • Manage blockers or obstacles in the creative process with confidence and clear communication.
  • Identify and implement appropriate processes to ensure an efficient and effective workflow.
  • Facilitate meetings with all levels of management, both internal and external.
  • Collaborate with the team to allocate, manage, and track budgets for creative asset development.

Leadership

  • Promote collaboration with internal stakeholders and foster positive agency relationships to achieve high-level outcomes.
  • Work with senior leadership to create policies, procedures, and best practices that impact the broader department.
  • Proactively work to solve problems, communicate with senior management, and actively seek clarification when there is ambiguity.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of entertainment marketing experience at or with a creative/advertising agency, network, streaming service, or studio.
  • Experience managing and leading creative teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A strong portfolio of work showing creative innovation with the ability to articulate big and breakthrough ideas in print, outdoor, AV, social, digital, events and experiential.
  • Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including cross-functional communication and collaboration.
  • Proven success in creative project management and execution across all forms of media, print, video, social and digital mass media.
  • Experience defining workflows within marketing, production, or creative departments/companies.
  • Developed campaign(s) for global launch with unique creative in territory.
  • Deep knowledge of storytelling, world-building and the customer journey.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sharp attention to detail.
  • Experience leading process improvements and/or operations tool implementations.
  • Experience working with digital asset management tools.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree.
