Sr IT Project Manager

About the role

The Sr. IT Project Manager plays a crucial role in CommonSpirit Health's transformation strategy. They are responsible for project planning, engagement, and adoption within their portfolio, driving transformation and customer experience objectives.

Responsibilities

• Key resource for the PMO, managing relationships with various customer constituencies including patients, consumers, providers, clinical staff, administrators, and employees.
• Overseeing the efficient operation of managed systems to ensure financial success and adaptability to market changes.
• Establishing and maintaining communication channels between business, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Developing large-scale project plans, identifying key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics, communication plans, and resources required.
• Supervising project resources needed to deliver tasks, such as Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Design Engineers, CyberSecurity, QACC, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Experience in Project Management methodologies and tool sets – waterfall/agile/scrum, planning, issue escalation, problem resolution, conflict and collision management, metrics and reporting, communications, etc.

Preferred

• Project Management experience in a Health care environment
• Strong functional understanding of hospital, clinic, and billing operations
• 3+ Multi-hospital and large project management experience
• Project Management Professional certification
