This role is based in Phoenix, AZ and requires regular time in the office or in the field. PNC is an in-office company that supports work-life balance. Visa sponsorship or STEM OPT participation is not available for this position.
About the Role
As a Sr. Investment Advisor within PNC's Private Bank organization, you will manage client accounts in accordance with investment objectives developed collaboratively with the client. Depending on the line of business, you may partner with specialists to support portfolio investment strategy, objectives, and health. Your responsibilities include delivering the PNC investment experience, providing actionable advice, market insights, and reporting on investment results.
Maintaining expert-level knowledge of complex investment and asset management strategies is essential. You will also focus on growing assets under management and supporting or leading sales efforts through the introduction and expansion of financial services to clients. Risk management is executed through adherence to PNC’s policies and procedures. You may also provide direction to other investment professionals.
PNC employees are expected to be customer-focused, knowledgeable of practices that align customer needs with business decisions, and skilled in managing risk while adhering to PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Responsibilities
- Manage client accounts in alignment with their investment objectives.
- Provide specialized advice and collaborate with specialists to support portfolio investment strategies.
- Deliver actionable advice, market insights, and investment result reporting to clients.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of complex investment and asset management strategies.
- Grow and maintain assets under management.
- Support and lead sales efforts by expanding financial services offerings to clients.
- Execute risk management practices through adherence to PNC’s policies and procedures.
- Provide direction to investment professionals as needed.
Requirements
- Typically requires a university/college degree; higher-level education such as a Master’s degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
- Industry-relevant experience of 8+ years is typically required.
- Specific certifications may be required for the role.
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience (including military service) may be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
