About the role
The Senior Functional Analyst – Oracle S2P will lead the end-to-end implementation and ongoing management of Oracle Fusion Source to Pay (S2P) initiatives, collaborating across PLM, O2C, and R2R tracks. This role covers requirements, fit-gap assessment, solution design, configurations, business process flow setups, implementation, cutover, validation, and operational maintenance of H2R modules and custom extensions. The position serves as the primary SME for the S2P track, translating business needs into scalable Oracle solutions and coordinating with development teams and SI partners to deliver measurable value.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end system solutions across the S2P track and related custom extensions/apps.
- Define business process cycles, cross-module interfaces, and integrations.
- Build system solutions using CEMLI (configurations, extensions, modifications, localizations, and integrations).
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand systems and processes; establish continuous engagement.
- Lead workshops, interviews, and surveys with stakeholders.
- Coordinate UATs, system validation, and production deployments with business and functional teams.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements using standard Oracle functionality.
- Govern and deliver business enhancements, wish lists, and backlog items.
- Develop and maintain system documentation (e.g., BR100, MD50, TE40), process flows, configuration documents, and training materials.
- Document "as-is" and "to-be" business process flows.
- Follow SDLC/Agile methodologies; create and track user stories from initiation to closure, including test scenarios.
- Enforce data governance policies and ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Oversee platform administration, optimization, stability, and operational maintenance.
- Manage licenses, monitor system health, standardize processes, and ensure platform scalability.
- Continuously enhance platform performance and user experience through proactive improvements.
- Assess platform releases and ensure timely upgrades, including intermediate patch sets.
- Lead the product roadmap aligned with business vision, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
- Experience with Oracle Fusion implementations in the Manufacturing vertical, including at least two full-cycle implementations (preferred) and at least one covering the S2P process area (required).
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle ERP applications/implementation, including cross-functional integrations and process cycles (required).
- 3+ years of experience with the Oracle Fusion platform, including functional and technical capabilities (preferred; EBS R12 accepted if no Fusion experience).
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations certification (preferred).
Skills
- Advanced, hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion implementation, development, and maintenance.
- Expertise in techno-functional configurations, including:
- Configurations, value sets, flex fields, attributes, workflow rules.
- Purchase order types, procurement categories, TCA (account/contact hierarchies).
- Legal entities, business units, security groups, approval rules.
- Supplier qualifications, approved supplier lists, payment terms, invoice tolerances.
- Bank integrations, payables setup, invoice/payment options, payment process profiles.
- AP to GL reconciliation, Payables and Cash Management integration, 1099 processing.
- Deep functional knowledge of the Source to Pay (S2P) process, including ground-up configuration of modules such as Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Portal, Procurement, Purchasing, SCM, Account Payables, Cash Management, and General Ledger.
- In-depth knowledge of S2P data models, reporting, and analytics (OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI).
- Experience with integrations and process tools like Coupa, e-invoicing, tax engines, data loaders, and RPA.
- Knowledge of Oracle platform development tools (e.g., PL/SQL, VBCS, Postman, Redwood UI).
- Understanding of data mapping and transformation for migrations from legacy Oracle and non-Oracle systems into Fusion Cloud.
- Proficiency in creating SDLC documentation (e.g., requirement/design documents, system reference manuals, Agile user stories, Confluence documents, use case scenarios, validation scripts, process flows, UI/UX documentation, configuration masters).
- Knowledge of methodologies like OUM, AIM, and SDLC practices; adaptability to hybrid delivery models.
- Experience delivering full-lifecycle Fusion projects from requirements gathering to deployment and post-go-live optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Agile, SAFe, or modern delivery frameworks, including tools like Jira.
- Ability to assess and pilot Oracle Fusion innovations, recommending adoption to meet evolving business needs.
- Familiarity with localizations for region-specific requirements and compliance.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with consultants, SI partners, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with business leads and technical teams.
- Proven ability to influence and drive consensus toward successful solution delivery.
