Sr Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Analyst

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and design business applications.
• Configure and maintain application systems.
• Perform systems testing and provide end-user production support.
• Support the business by understanding their processes and how they relate to supported applications.
• Research system functionality and operations using analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Anticipate business partner's questions and provide regular updates.
• Use basic to advanced SQL select statements to understand table structures.
• Resolve technical issues with detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with other company departments and external vendors for international IT operations.
• Plan, organize, and direct the implementation and development of supported applications.
• Analyze and resolve functional/technical problems and user needs.
• Document requirements, implement solutions following the GMF Software Development Lifecycle methodology.
• Revise existing systems as necessary and revise or modify procedures to solve complex problems.
• Monitor scheduled application interfaces and provide issue resolution.
• Interface with software vendors and suppliers to support business applications.
• Coordinate with program development teams on software interfaces.
• Communicate with management and business partners on business systems and project status.
• Work closely with internal business units to facilitate project completion.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of business processes for supported business groups.
• Advanced knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure, and operations.
• Significant experience in a large and complex business environment.
• Strong working knowledge of information systems and operations systems for supported business groups.
• Knowledge of GM Financial's core business functions.
• Knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards, and best practices.
• Knowledgeable of best practices in information technology governance and regulatory landscape for financial institutions.
• Strong in the use of Microsoft Office software, including strong ability to analyze data using Excel for reporting and data mining purposes.
• Strong people skills including the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Advanced experience with data visualization concepts and tools.
