Sr. Director - COO Chief of Staff

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director - COO Chief of Staff to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This senior operations leadership role will partner closely with the COO to advance high-priority initiatives, manage complex issues, and ensure disciplined execution across the organization. The position will serve as a key connector across internal teams, external vendors, and senior stakeholders to drive alignment and momentum. It will also support governance, executive communications, and materials development for critical leadership forums and board-level oversight. Location: Boston, MA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $214,650 – $262,350 annually Responsibilities Support the COO by managing key internal and external issues Drive cross-functional initiatives for integrated execution Lead priority programs, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors Facilitate key meetings and ensure effective governance processes Prepare materials for the Board's Health Care Quality Committee Partner with executives on planning and problem-solving efforts Represent the COO in communications with senior stakeholders Qualifications 10+ years in health care administration or management; BA/BS preferred Established credibility with senior leaders, including the Office of the CEO Experience leading projects and implementing major initiatives Proven success in achieving business outcomes and milestones Track record in team development and cross-functional management Expertise in influence and negotiation without direct authority In-depth knowledge of the health care industry and its landscape Benefits Paid time off (PTO) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Comprehensive well-being benefits Eligibility for variable pay Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
