As a Senior DC Operations Manager, you will apply strong strategic and analytical skills to drive operational excellence through short- and long-term planning. This role requires creativity, innovation, leadership, and business acumen. You will optimize people, processes, and performance to enhance our "can-do" culture and inspire diverse teams and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Champion and model Ulta Beauty’s mission, vision, and values
  • Influence accountability to plan, execute, and achieve objectives aligned with company strategy for growth and profit
  • Identify patterns and anticipate business needs to drive performance
  • Deliver efficient and effective solutions within time, cost, and scope constraints
  • Measure the effect of process changes and quantify their impact
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to launch new initiatives and track/analyze performance
  • Raise awareness of process change impacts across the enterprise
  • Facilitate proactive change management for all levels impacted by project rollouts
  • Influence key stakeholders to achieve results autonomously
  • Determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow, recommending methods for maximum asset and people utilization
  • Recommend methods for improving associate efficiency and reducing waste (e.g., restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow)
  • Participate in training and testing for new systems and processes as part of implementation plans
  • Lead and execute best practices to promote associate engagement and enablement
  • Partner across the network to coach and develop leaders, aligning culture action plans with people strategies and business initiatives
  • Identify ways to build and implement talent capabilities, including training and development opportunities
  • Lead and participate in talent calibration, culture survey action planning, goal setting, performance review consultation, and IDP creation/execution
  • Plan and drive operational exempt and non-exempt staffing needs
  • Lead building-wide performance management plans in partnership with the leadership team

Requirements

  • Proven proficiency with process improvement
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams with diverse goals and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated skill in driving initiatives related to teams, projects, and quality
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, including troubleshooting, prioritizing, and multitasking
  • Ability to quickly learn business processes outside one’s area of expertise
  • Nimbleness and innovation to apply process improvement initiatives
  • Strong computer skills (specifically MS Office, WMS Application)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

Essential Functions

  • Work a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Work rotational, 24/7 on-call to support the operation at all hours
  • Travel, including overnight stays
  • Stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Accept exposure to distribution center conditions, which may include loud noises, variable temperatures, dusty environments, and strong scents related to cosmetics or fragrance
  • Visit stores to develop an understanding of the store experience and collaborate with field partners

Pay

The pay range for this position is $102,900.00 - $174,700.00 per year, with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
