Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM execution plans, VDC workflows, coordination schedules, and digital delivery standards for industrial construction projects.
- Lead multidisciplinary model coordination across civil, structural, architectural, process, and MEP scopes throughout design and construction.
- Facilitate clash detection, issue tracking, model audits, and coordination meetings to identify risks early and drive timely resolution.
- Partner with project managers, superintendents, preconstruction teams, engineers, trade partners, and owners to improve constructability, sequencing, prefabrication opportunities, and field execution.
- Support model-based deliverables including coordination views, 4D sequencing, quantity takeoff assistance, installation planning, and as-built or turnover model requirements.
- Establish and reinforce BIM standards, file structures, naming conventions, model quality expectations, and digital collaboration procedures across project teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, or a related field; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, industrial project execution, model-based coordination, constructability review, and digital project delivery workflows.
- Experience managing BIM execution plans, coordination meetings, clash reports, issue logs, model audits, and digital turnover requirements.
- Proficiency with common VDC/BIM and construction technology platforms such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Bluebeam, CMiC, Procore, or similar systems.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence project teams, designers, and trade partners.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, mission critical, heavy commercial, or process facility construction is preferred.
- Relevant credentials such as CM-BIM, Autodesk certifications, or similar digital construction and industry certifications are a plus.
- Must be willing and able to travel and work on project sites as required to support coordination, field integration, client meetings, and project execution.
