If you've reached the pinnacle of competitive sport (Olympic athlete, World Champion, Division I First Team All-American), you understand what it takes to perform at the highest level. The question is: can you transform that experience into concrete coaching methods that turn students into high performers?
Responsibilities
- Congducting proactive one-on-one motivation sessions where you convert your athletic discipline into clear, actionable coaching methods
- Leading high-energy morning assemblies that activate the entire student community
- Delivering interactive life skill workshops where you directly coach students through exercises in resilience, leadership, and goal-setting
- Conducting structured afternoon athletic training that embodies championship principles: creating drills, demanding effort, refining technique, and instilling grit and collaboration through sport (not merely overseeing activities)
- Actively engaging with every student across the day: moving through spaces during independent learning, stepping in to motivate students facing challenges, and generating teachable moments that spark breakthrough insights
Requirements
- Sports Performance Coach key responsibilities
- We're looking for former elite athletes who have competed at the highest levels of sport — Olympians, World Champions, professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, or NHL, or NCAA Division I All-Americans
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Proven track record of using athletics to mentor and coach life skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide motivational leadership in athletic, academic, or professional contexts
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
- Willingness to live in or relocate to Austin, TX

Pay
$75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
