About the role

Texas Sports Academy is seeking an Elite Guide to transform Austin-based student-athletes into high-caliber learners and leaders. The role involves converting elite athletic principles into everyday motivation, life-skills development, and rigorous sports training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out focused 1:1 coaching sessions to translate competitive discipline into clear, actionable strategies for student development
• Deliver high-impact morning rallies to activate and engage the full student community
• Lead interactive life-skills workshops where students practice resilience, leadership, and goal-setting under your guidance
• Execute structured afternoon athletic training sessions embodying championship principles, including creating drills, demanding effort, refining technique, and instilling grit and collaboration through sport
• Engage proactively with each student throughout the day, moving through independent study periods, stepping in to inspire when a student struggles, and seizing moments to spark critical growth

Requirements

• Former elite-level athletes with proven achievement at the pinnacle of competition
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Demonstrated experience leveraging sport to mentor and develop life skills
• Proven motivational leadership in athletic, academic, or professional contexts
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
• Willingness to reside in or relocate to Austin, TX

Pay

$75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment period is weekly.
