What You’ll Be Doing

• Learn and assist with all required machine and support 17’’ winder equipment set ups.
• Mechanical skills to operate, set up, and troubleshoot equipment as required.
• Ability to operate cutter.
• Perform machine preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment related to the carpet yarn line.
• Operate machine on a substitute basis with proficiency level.
• Document and maintain machine logs.
• Report and track production information - scrap, machine efficiency, machine down time, paper usage.
• Absorb and communicate quality measurements and metrics.
• Show excellent machine set up skills.
• Understand buildups and tube constructions.
• Show cutter set up procedures.

• Ability to interpret and understand Oracle production orders and requirements to enter required Oracle data.
