Technician I

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technician I to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-oriented technical role or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience with ice machines or HVAC maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, clean, and maintain ice machines according to Easy Ice’s standard operating procedures
• Perform routine inspections and execute scheduled maintenance tasks
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers to ensure timely completion of work orders
• Document all actions taken during service visits accurately
• Manage truck stock and ensure timely service for customers
• Facilitate payment processing and assist with equipment removal when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and organization

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Vocational/Technical Training preferred
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components related to ice machines
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and standard repair practices
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Demonstrated track record of delivering high-level customer satisfaction

Schedule

Flexible shifts and adaptability to changing work schedules are essential. The employee is often required to stand for extended periods of time (6+ hours per day).
