Speech Therapist - Part-Time

Job Summary

We're Growing at Deaconess Home Health - Evansville, Indiana. Service area includes: Posey, Vanderburgh, Warrick, Spencer, Gibson, Pike, Daviess, Dubois, Knox Counties. Part-time Speech Therapist position available - 3-days per week, Day Shift. Comprehensive benefit package offered. NestMed for AI Documentation included. No after-hour on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in their homes.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Work collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Provide training and support for family members to assist with therapeutic exercise and strategies at home.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active registered SLP license in the state where you practice and certification (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification.
• One-year Speech Therapy experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Drivers License.
