About the role
Provides diagnosis and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders for adult and pediatric patients under supervision. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats communication and swallowing disorders, administering diagnostic tests and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Advises physicians and patients on disorders, develops treatment schedules, and maintains department policies and procedures.
- Identifies opportunities for service enhancements and ensures regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Completion of a Speech Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Internship.
- California Speech-Language Pathologist License, National Provider Identifier, and Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Skills
- Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
