Join Wasatch Behavioral Health at our Receiving & Outreach Center (ROC) in Provo, Utah as a Part-Time Therapist. In this role, you'll provide essential crisis mental health services to adults in Utah and Wasatch Counties, supporting individuals during acute mental health crises in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization services for adults experiencing acute mental health challenges.
- Conduct mental health evaluations and consultations to determine appropriate levels of care and support.
- Provide individual support and therapeutic interventions to clients during times of crisis.
- Complete clinical documentation, assessments, and treatment recommendations in accordance with agency standards.
- Coordinate care and connect clients with community resources, treatment programs, and ongoing support services.
- Collaborate with peer support specialists, therapists, law enforcement, hospitals, and community partners to provide comprehensive crisis care.
- Support Mobile Crisis Outreach (MCOT) responses in collaboration with local law enforcement when needed.
- Assist clients in developing safety plans, coping strategies, and next steps toward stabilization.
- Provide care coordination for individuals receiving Crisis Residential Support (CRS) services to help prevent higher levels of care and promote community-based stability.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for clients receiving short-term crisis services.
- Work as part of a 24/7 crisis response team dedicated to providing immediate access to compassionate behavioral health care.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
- Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
- Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.
Pay
$28.79–$44.47/hour, depending on experience and licensure.

Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM-9:00 PM
