Part-Time Therapist

About the Role

Provides patient evaluation and assessment to establish functional, measurable goals aimed at restoring abilities. Delivers treatment based on a written plan of care, monitors progress, and reassesses patient status. Prepares discharge plans, including patient/family education, follow-up, and community referrals. May supervise clinical students and support staff such as licensed assistants, technicians, and volunteers. Builds caring relationships to facilitate health and healing. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient using subjective and objective data.
• Develop and implement a plan of care.
• Administer treatment aligned with care goals.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and reassess patient progress.
• Provide discharge planning, education, and referrals.
• Contribute to staff and student development.
• Participate in initiatives to improve healthcare delivery.
• Complete assigned objectives.

Requirements

• Entry-level experience preferred.
• Basic skills required; advanced skills desired.
• Licensure: BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
