About Us
The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is a 156-bed private behavioral health system located on 13 acres in the Greenville, South Carolina area. Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments such as detox and rehab, the center serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina. Programs are available at various levels of care—including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment—to accommodate the severity of every patient’s condition.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate therapy groups
- Complete psychosocial assessments
- Maintain patient, program, department, and related documentation
- Communicate effectively with patient families or social support systems
- Develop and implement effective discharge planning
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
- Participate in treatment care planning and help implement the treatment care plan
- Apply substantial knowledge of therapeutic skills to intervene with behavioral health patients
- Participate in restraint and seclusion of patients when required
- Support hospital Service Excellence standards
- Complete annual and other required training in a timely manner
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling, or a similar field (required)
- Licensure preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility
- Direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Addiction recovery and suicide prevention experience preferred
