About the Role
Assess, evaluate, and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders in their homes as a PRN Home Health Speech Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services within legal scope and in coordination with the healthcare team.
- Evaluate patient function using diagnostic tests and assist in developing the treatment plan.
- Treat patients to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive functions.
- Monitor and document patient responses and condition changes, reporting to supervising staff.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and participation.
Requirements
- Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
- CPR certification.
- Dependable transportation.
