Job Summary

Aegis Therapies is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to provide outpatient therapy services at Urbana Place Senior Living in Brooklyn Park, MN. The position offers flexible schedules including full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities.

About the Role

You will be working with higher functioning residents in assisted living, independent living, outpatient, and lovely community settings. Your primary responsibilities include conducting speech and language therapy sessions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and marketing the clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Treat residents Monday through Friday, no evenings or weekends.
  • Provide therapy sessions in residents' rooms or an on-site outpatient clinic.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Market the clinic and create your own schedule.
  • Show off your outgoing personality and flex your business skills.

Requirements

  • Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist or ability to obtain in the state of practice.
  • Previous experience in outpatient setting preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Passing scores on the Praxis exam or equivalent certification.
  • Knowledge of various communication disorders and treatment methods.

Pay

$36 to $45 per hour.
