About the role
An accounts payable specialist ensures all bills are paid efficiently and promptly. They provide administrative and clerical support by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, monitoring expenses, and maintaining records for tax purposes. This role involves performing extensive general ledger entries and transactions for invoice processing, mailing checks and documents, filing work, preparing GL certifications, and complying with the bank's security program.
Responsibilities
- Process, verify, and reconcile invoices
- Maintain records for tax purposes
- Prepare GL certifications for fixed assets, prepaid, and reserved accounts
- Comply with the bank’s security program
- Review and comply with the End-User Computing Agreement
- Acquire knowledge on computer system functions relevant to job functions
- Stay updated on industry trends for safeguarding against data leaks, identity theft, and security threats
- Report suspicious activities to appropriate personnel
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Reasoning Skills: Excellent analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks, good time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Computer Skills: Accurate typing/keyboarding skills, basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet software, and email

Benefits
The salary range for this full-time position is $23 - $25 per hour + bonus + benefits. Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location. Exact compensation may vary based on individual skills and experience.
