About the role

This is a commissioned based position within a growing team of professional service providers. The spa cosmetologist is responsible for providing various services to clients as outlined in the spa menu, adhering to individual treatment protocols. Additionally, they ensure that the treatment and service areas are kept clean and adhere to universal spa industry sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide manicure/pedicure services, make-up services, and hair services to spa guests.
• Understand and use universal precautions.
• Have a complete knowledge of all spa services, packages, promotions, and retail products offered by the spa.
• Use and portion products as directed.
• Educate guests and recommend products for home use.
• Suggest other beneficial treatments offered in the spa.
• Complete all assigned side work.
• Attend all mandatory staff meetings.
• Keep work areas clean and set according to procedures.
• Aid with laundry and other housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
• Inform Spa Director of product needs.

Requirements

• Current NH Cosmetology license.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in the medical, salon, or spa industry is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• High school education or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

Knowledge of guest services and retail inventory. Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient.
