About the role

The Salon & Spa Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring each guest feels welcomed and supported. This position focuses on both front-of-house interactions and behind-the-scenes support.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests, making sure they feel valued from the moment they enter.
• Support artists by preparing clean linens and supplies needed for services.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests, including the salon, lobby, dressing rooms, retail shelves, and restrooms.
• Absorb and organize incoming retail stock and signage.
• Engage with guests during checkout, ensuring they have a positive experience and encouraging repeat visits.

Requirements

• If age 18+, must have or be willing to obtain a Class 12 or 13 MAST Permit.
• Desire to get things done and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to anticipate and meet guest needs, exceeding expectations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Resilience and professionalism in handling situations promptly.
• Organizational skills and comfort with repetitive tasks.
• Quick learning ability and eagerness to understand and apply various products, services, and promotions.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs. without assistance, and up to 50 lbs. with assistance.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling is essential, with many shifts occurring during evenings and weekends, particularly around holidays.
