About the role
Welcome to the Gene Juarez team! As a Salon & Spa Coordinator, you play a crucial role in ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your responsibilities extend beyond just greeting guests; you support our artists by preparing necessary supplies and maintaining a clean, inviting environment.Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests, making sure they feel at home.
- Support artists by preparing clean linens and supplies.
- Promote a clean and welcoming environment by keeping all areas tidy.
- Absorb and organize incoming retail stock and signage.
- Engage with guests during checkout, ensuring they had a great experience and encouraging repeat visits.
- Closing the salon at night, managing keys, and ensuring safety.
Requirements
- If age 18+, obtain a Class 12 or 13 MAST Permit (or be willing to train).
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment and be able to pivot quickly.
- Anticipate and exceed guest needs, showing a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
- Be resilient and professional in handling unexpected situations.
- Have a knack for organization and thrive in a repetitive task environment.
- Quickly learn about various products, services, and promotions and apply this knowledge effectively.
- Have a positive attitude and be open to working weekends.
- Be prepared to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
