Salon & Spa Coordinator

About the role

The Salon & Spa Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring each guest feels welcomed and supported at Gene Juarez locations. This position focuses on both front-of-house interactions and behind-the-scenes support.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests, making sure they feel valued and their experience is exceptional.
• Support artists by preparing clean linens and supplies needed for services.
• Maintain a clean and inviting environment for guests, including the salon, lobby, dressing rooms, retail shelves, and restrooms.
• Absorb and organize incoming retail stock and signage.
• Engage with guests during check-out, ensuring they had a positive experience and encouraging repeat visits.

Requirements

• If age 18+, obtain or be willing to obtain a Class 12 or 13 MAST Permit.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to pivot quickly.
• Have strong customer service skills and be able to anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
• Show attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
• Be resilient and able to handle situations professionally in the moment.
• Enjoy organizing and keeping things tidy, and be comfortable with some repetitive tasks.
• Be quick learners and able to adapt to changes in products, services, and promotions.
• Have a positive attitude and be open to flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
• Be able to stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs. without assistance, and up to 50 lbs. with assistance.

Pay

$17.13 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule

Open scheduling availability is essential due to the position's involvement in evening and weekend shifts, especially around holidays.
