Salon Services Provider
Responsible for
- Provides hair cutting, styling services and/or scalp treatment to patients and families upon referral and as appropriate.
- Serves as a financial steward by implementing cost effective programming and adhering to budget constraints.
- Maintains and adheres to scheduling calendar of appointments.
- Collaborates with Infection Prevention and Control, Public Relations, and other departments as needed.
- Ensures hair cutting/styling services follow safety, sanitation, health and CHOP standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
What You Will Do
Provides hair cutting, styling services and/or scalp treatment to patients and families upon referral and as appropriate.
Services include but are not limited to:
- Routine Hair Care
- Harm Prevention/Treatment
- Bereavement Care
Education Qualifications
- A High School Diploma / GED is required.
Experience Qualifications
- At least ten (10) years relevant hair cutting, styling, and/or barber experience is required.
- Experience working with children and adolescents is required.
- Experience with providing services in association with bereavement is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications
- Licensed Cosmetologist (Pennsylvania) - Required - Upon hire from the Pennsylvania State Licensing Board.
- Cosmetology Teaching License (Pennsylvania) - Required - Upon hire from the Pennsylvania State Licensing Board.

SALARY RANGE: $25.50 - $31.85 Hourly
