About the Role
Palo Alto Networks is looking for a customer-obsessed, technically curious Sr. Solutions Engineer (SE) who will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support both our IDIRA Workforce IAM and IGA initiatives across the Central US region.
Responsibilities
- Empower customers and solve identity and access management challenges as part of a collaborative team.
- Design and implement enterprise security roles that meet regulatory audit requirements.
- Perform API testing and automation to streamline workflows and address real-world security challenges.
- Act as a knowledge multiplier by teaching, documenting, and enabling teammates and customers to succeed.
- Articulate the competitive advantages of Palo Alto Networks’ IAM/IGA solutions.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of deep experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), including lifecycle management, federation (OIDC/OAuth), SSO/MFA, and zero-trust/least privilege frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with platforms like CyberArk, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, or Active Directory.
- Ability to transition seamlessly between strategic design and hands-on technical tasks, such as API testing in Postman.
- Strong scripting skills to automate workflows and solve practical security challenges.

Pay
The starting base salary for this position is expected to be in the range of $198,000.00 - $273,000.00 per year. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
Compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location.
