About the Role

We are seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to join Twilio's Corporate Communications team. This role is pivotal in building our community presence and enhancing brand awareness through engaging and strategic social media initiatives. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller skilled in crafting original content that resonates with diverse audiences, including technical developers, business decision-makers, and consumers. You will manage multiple social platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok, ensuring consistent brand messaging and dynamic content delivery. Your responsibilities will include executing editorial calendars, launching campaigns, and managing employee advocacy programs to amplify our voice. Responsibilities

  • Create compelling, on-brand content that highlights our customers, capabilities, and company culture
  • Manage and optimize our social media channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok
  • Assist in executing the editorial calendar and campaign strategies
  • Oversee Twilio’s employee advocacy program, empowering teams to share impactful content
  • Engage with and grow our community of developers, consumers, and business leaders daily
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on campaign goals related to product launches, events, and initiatives
  • Showcase Twilio’s mission by highlighting innovative use cases and success stories
  • Develop content tailored for executive leadership to enhance their visibility and engagement
  • Utilize analytics to measure success and inform future strategies
  • Experiment with new tactics and emerging social media trends to expand reach
  • Partner with the Employee Brand team to tell authentic stories of Twilions externally

Qualifications

  • Experience managing brand social media accounts across multiple platforms
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas concisely in 100 characters or less
  • Creative thinking with a proven track record of innovative content ideas
  • Strong organizational skills and project management abilities
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing social media performance
  • Proficiency with social management tools such as Sprout Social, Canva, Figma, EveryoneSocial
  • Passion for community building and engagement
  • Enjoyment of fun, dynamic work environments
  • Desired: Experience with live video production and graphic design skills
