SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

About the Role

The Social Media Specialist works directly with the Social Media Manager, outside vendors, and the creative team to develop, schedule, coordinate, and implement all digital marketing initiatives. This position supports a detailed content and campaign schedule with an emphasis on day-to-day social content creation and publishing.

Responsibilities

• Redefine hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
• Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Graton Resort & Casino standards, policies, and procedures.
• Create, schedule, and publish content across all social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Handle content planning, creative direction, shoot coordination, publishing strategy, and audience engagement while ensuring consistent and accurate brand representation.
• Support the content calendar and day-to-day publishing schedule, coordinating timing with campaigns, promotions, and events.
• Capture and edit photo and video content for social platforms, on property and at events.
• Ensure all social media content is accurate and complies with Graton's brand standards, including photography, videography, and guest permission requirements.
• Work proactively with the Social Media Manager, creative team, partners, and content creators to drive continuous improvement and optimal production solutions for new and existing materials and concepts.
• Monitor native platform analytics and generate regular performance reports to evaluate content performance and support data-driven decision making.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external teams to drive collaboration of marketing programs, communicating proactively with departments and partners.
• Attend Graton Resort & Casino marketing events, content shoots, and other promotional activities as needed.
