Location Requirement
This role is based in our Palo Alto office five days a week to support fast collaboration and a strong team culture.
About The Role
We're looking for a sharp, ambitious Social Media Specialist to own and run our entire social media presence. You’ll use AI agents and best-in-class technology to deliver sharp, professional content that resonates across LinkedIn, X, and TikTok. This is a rare junior role with significant ownership: you’ll build our TikTok presence from zero, create compelling content for LinkedIn (including CEO voice), set the cadence on X, and ensure every product launch, customer win, and headline lands on the right channels. You’ll work closely with our Chief Communications Officer and collaborate with marketing, sales, customer success, and design to amplify the best stories at Hippocratic AI.
Responsibilities
- Build the right agent team support for cross-functional social media: Leverage AI agents to streamline tasks so you can focus on creativity and judgment.
- Run the social calendar: Own a unified content calendar across LinkedIn (CEO + company), TikTok, and X. Plan ahead for product launches, marketing moments, conferences, and earned-media hits while staying agile enough to react in hours, not weeks.
- Support the CEO’s LinkedIn presence: Create CEO-tone posts, manage the publishing cadence, monitor comments, and surface engagement opportunities under guidance from the CCO.
- Launch and grow our TikTok: Build Hippocratic AI’s TikTok presence from the ground up. Develop a content franchise, shoot and edit short-form video, and partner with creators, clinicians, and other voices to extend reach.
- Manage company LinkedIn and X: Drive consistent posting on LinkedIn; maintain a smart, light touch on X. Monitor all channels for relevant conversations and engage in real time.
- Source stories from across the company: Partner with sales, customer success, and clinical teams to extract and develop content from customer wins, use cases, product milestones, and team highlights (new hires, promotions, culture moments).
- Work with influencers and external voices: Identify, outreach, and coordinate with creators, clinicians, patient advocates, and industry voices to amplify Hippocratic AI’s story.
- Create on-brand content: Design graphics in Canva and Figma, cut video natively on social platforms or with editing tools, and write copy that aligns with our voice. Coordinate with our lead designer to ensure brand consistency.
- Support broader comms and marketing: Help draft sales documents, one-pagers, and supporting content. Pitch in on light design and editing for the comms and marketing teams as needed.
- Measure and report: Track performance across channels, learn what’s working, and bring sharp recommendations on where to lean in.
Requirements
- Must Have:
- 3-5 years of social media experience at a brand, agency, or startup (internships count).
- Native fluency in LinkedIn, TikTok, and X—you understand the unwritten rules of each platform and can name the accounts setting the bar.
- Strong writing chops and a feel for voice, especially the difference between a CEO post and a brand post.
- Comfort designing in Canva and Figma; able to produce clean graphics, social tiles, or simple templates without waiting on design.
- Ability to shoot and edit short-form video on mobile or with lightweight editing tools.
- Project management instincts: you can run a calendar, juggle stakeholders, and ship on a tight timeline.
- A bias toward action and great judgment—you can move fast on a trend without putting the brand at risk.
- Comfort with social listening and analytics tools (Sprout, Brandwatch, native analytics, etc.).
- Genuine interest in healthcare, AI, or both. You don’t need to be an expert; you do need to be curious.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience launching a TikTok or short-form channel from scratch.
- Existing relationships with healthcare creators, clinician influencers, or AI commentators.
- Past experience supporting an executive’s personal brand.
- Familiarity with regulated or healthcare-adjacent communications.
Benefits
- Build the social presence of a generational company in AI and healthcare.
- Real ownership and visibility from day one—you’ll partner directly with the CCO.
- A team that ships fast and takes craft seriously.
- Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits.
