Essential Job Functions
- Performs all repairs and service requirements necessary for Slot machines and related gaming equipment
- Trains and coaches Slot Tech I
- Performs installation, configuration, diagnostic testing, and final testing of all slot machines and associated equipment in accordance with the manufactures Operation & Service Guide, and department policies and procedures.
- Removes and replaces failed replaceable units during installation and upgrades in accordance with the manufactures Operation and Service Guide, and department policies and procedures.
- Ensures all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards.
- Rebuilds parts/equipment during down times, and maintains the parts inventory as assigned.
- Prioritize workloads to meet business demands.
- Circulates through the assigned area performing repairs as necessary.
- Safeguards all slot/storage areas by ensuring they are cleaned and organized.
- Completes the initial setup and testing of all new slot products.
- Completes all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly.
- Aids in the training of subordinates and the development of new methods and techniques for training manuals.
- Maintains the integrity of the slot machine equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times.
- Complies with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with mechanical/ electronic aptitude required
- Minimum one year Slot Repair experience in a casino environment
- The ability to use basic hand tools and testing equipment and exhibits superior communications skills and abilities
- Working knowledge or computers and practical knowledge preferred
- Must possess ability to solve practical problems using technical and industry knowledge
- Candidate must have electro-mechanical skills
- Effectively use manufacturer documents to troubleshoot and repair components i.e. Schematics, Principals of Operations Manuals, and Technical Manuals
- Candidate must display a constant commitment to excellence regardless of the task or responsibility
- Candidate must be able to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures
- Candidate must also be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to successfully interface with all levels of the organization
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects
- Time management and project management skills
- Collaboration and flexibility required
- Knowledge of Database and Internet communication technologies
- Knowledge of RAM Clear, IGT, WMS, and Bally systems
