Essential Job Functions

  • Performs all repairs and service requirements necessary for Slot machines and related gaming equipment
  • Trains and coaches Slot Tech I
  • Performs installation, configuration, diagnostic testing, and final testing of all slot machines and associated equipment in accordance with the manufactures Operation & Service Guide, and department policies and procedures.
  • Removes and replaces failed replaceable units during installation and upgrades in accordance with the manufactures Operation and Service Guide, and department policies and procedures.
  • Ensures all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards.
  • Rebuilds parts/equipment during down times, and maintains the parts inventory as assigned.
  • Prioritize workloads to meet business demands.
  • Circulates through the assigned area performing repairs as necessary.
  • Safeguards all slot/storage areas by ensuring they are cleaned and organized.
  • Completes the initial setup and testing of all new slot products.
  • Completes all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly.
  • Aids in the training of subordinates and the development of new methods and techniques for training manuals.
  • Maintains the integrity of the slot machine equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times.
  • Complies with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent with mechanical/ electronic aptitude required
  • Minimum one year Slot Repair experience in a casino environment
  • The ability to use basic hand tools and testing equipment and exhibits superior communications skills and abilities
  • Working knowledge or computers and practical knowledge preferred
  • Must possess ability to solve practical problems using technical and industry knowledge
  • Candidate must have electro-mechanical skills
  • Effectively use manufacturer documents to troubleshoot and repair components i.e. Schematics, Principals of Operations Manuals, and Technical Manuals
  • Candidate must display a constant commitment to excellence regardless of the task or responsibility
  • Candidate must be able to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures
  • Candidate must also be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to successfully interface with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects
  • Time management and project management skills
  • Collaboration and flexibility required
  • Knowledge of Database and Internet communication technologies
  • Knowledge of RAM Clear, IGT, WMS, and Bally systems
