Slot Technician II - Slot Operations

About the role

The Slot Technician II performs a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of slot machines with infrequent assistance, possessing extensive knowledge of both mechanical and electronic aspects of slot machine repair. This role also provides training or assistance to lesser experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibilities of Supervisor Slot Performance in the supervisor’s absence as assigned.
• Help coordinate and lead slot floor moves and shift assignments.
• Provide direction for Slot Technicians on assigned shift as assigned.
• Coordinate Special Projects as assigned.
• Ensure the overall smooth operation of all slot-related equipment.
• Maintain and repair slot machines and associated parts to keep them in working order.
• Perform general preventative maintenance of gaming tables and slot machines.
• Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines and equipment to access problem areas.
• Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
• Participate in moves and/or conversions of related gaming equipment as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair slot machines.
• Safeguard all property assets in the slot department.
• Follow all Internal and Indiana Gaming rules and laws.
• Interact with guests to enhance guest relations.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the slot technician supervisor.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of slot-related machinery.
• Perform work regularly, predictably, and in a professional manner.
• Clean and sanitize work and public spaces.
• Adhere to all Indiana Gaming Regulations.
• Attend seminars when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Two (2) or more years’ experience in a Slot Technician capacity.
• Minimum three-year experience in an electronic background.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must successfully pass a drug screening.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
