Shipping Specialist

About the role

The Shipping Specialist role is pivotal to our manufacturing operations. You will own the day-to-day execution of our shipping processes, ensuring smooth and timely delivery. This is your chance to successfully implement processes that bring teams together and elevate our performance!

Responsibilities

• Operate tow motor and order picker
• Generate shipping documents including bill of lading, commercial invoice, pack list, barcode labels, and certificate of conformance
• Sort incoming product to determine routing for shipping, stock, or transfer
• Build and prioritize customer delivery schedules
• Process expedited orders promptly
• Preserve product using various packaging materials
• Perform inventory control activities like stocking, cycle counts, and item searches

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Prior shipping experience preferred
• Ability to understand and communicate basic English
• Basic counting and math skills
• Work well under pressure and meet production deadlines
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong manual dexterity and control precision
