Responsibilities

  • Safely operate equipment, including start-up, shutdown, and change-out of product. Equipment operated may include, but is not limited to, reactors, tanks, conveyors, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Verify product quantities, batch numbers, lot numbers, and shipping documentation before shipment.
  • Monitor and adjust controls to regulate tank and reactor levels, temperature, and pressure.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy
  • Pack final product in bags, drums, or supersacks as per customer and company guidelines.
  • Move product bags and drums manually and/or with a forklift.
  • Able to operate a forklift.
  • Perform routine housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work station.
  • Observe safety precautions to prevent chemical reactions. Report product and machine malfunctions to supervisor immediately.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to operate a forklift.
  • Able to manually lift, push, and move up to 50 lbs. throughout shift.
  • Able to wear a negative-pressure elastomeric seal respirator.
