About the role
The Shipping Specialist plays a critical role in Crusoe's production process, ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of materials from manufacturing shops to job sites. This position requires a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with proven experience in shipping and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the transportation coordinator to follow the shipping schedule, identify opportunities for efficiency, and prepare and process all required documentation, including shipping invoices and packing slips.
- Carefully inspect all incoming and outgoing inventory for accuracy and quality, tagging materials with the required information and moving materials using a pallet jack or forklift.
- Ensure all quality check sheets are completed to company standards before final packaging, photographing projects to create a quality history and documenting any damages, overages, or shortages.
- Contribute to the team's efforts to update the status board and identify areas for improvement.
- Uphold Crusoe's commitment to safety and adhere to all company policies and procedures, providing input to management regarding staffing and hiring decisions and participating in training new team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a shipping, receiving, or related role.
- Required forklift experience and the ability to use basic hand tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- A collaborative team player with a good attitude and a willingness to learn and improve.
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, stoop, bend, and use arms and hands for a full workday.
- Proficiency with ERP software (e.g., Infor Visual, Acumatica) is a plus.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards is a plus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $21 - $30/HR + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Schedule
This is a full-time position.
