Shipping Specialist

What You'll Do

• Cook up daily outbound shipments to guarantee on-time client conveyance.
• Prepare, pack, authenticate, and label shipments for accuracy.
• Receive incoming materials and authenticate shipments against packing documentation.
• Couple with freight carriers and schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Manage internal fleet activities and external processing to keep materials moving efficiently.
• Monitor shipping performance and identify chances for procedure enhancements utilizing Lean standards.
• Preserve a neat, organized, and secure shipping division.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Customer Service to meet client anticipations.

What We're Looking For

• Two or more years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• Understanding of shipping protocols and freight documentation.
• Forklift experience or eagerness to get certified.
• Basic computer abilities for shipping and inventory transactions.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to multi-task.
• Commitment to security, quality, and team spirit.

Physical Requirements

• Capacity to stand, stroll, bend, and move through the shift.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Capacity to work securely around forklifts, shipping apparatuses, and manufacturing operations.

Compensation

$24.00 - $27.00 per hour, contingent upon experience.
