Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

About the role

Located in southeast Missouri, Bloomfield is a small town with rich history, and we are proud to call it home to one of our litter factories since 1976. Our factory in Bloomfield was the first to produce Lightweight® litter, a product that weighs half the amount of conventional litter, revolutionizing the pet care industry. An innovative feature of this factory is an overhead bridge that allows full pallets of finished products to be conveyed to a warehouse with an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) just north of the factory.

As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you’ll coordinate with the warehouse management team, transportation, and the receiving dock to schedule and monitor all shipping and receiving activities in the factory. You will utilize warehouse management systems to monitor and receive incoming shipments and ensure smooth flow of traffic at the loading dock. In working closely with the Ops Planning team, Materials, and Shipping and Receiving departments, you’ll ensure raw materials and packaging supplies are received and unloaded for production needs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize EWM (Extended Warehouse Management System), PINC, Order Management, and SAP to facilitate the shipping process from beginning to end.
• Process sample requisitions, inter-company transfers, transfers from outside storage locations for production packaging supplies and raw materials, and other small packages for shipment.
• Communicate inventory updates to warehouse personnel to inform the shipping and receiving team and operations planning team.
• Manage daily flow of all jockey service, live drivers for outside storage warehouse loads/unloads, and dock schedule.
• Work closely with the Trade Relations Representatives to ensure load accuracy and completion.
• Process necessary paperwork for shipping needs and audit exercises and maintain accurate records of receipts.
• Must be flexible to work weekends and cover other shifts when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years’ experience providing customer service in a manufacturing, warehouse, military, or related environment

Pay

The approximate pay range for this position is $37,000 to $49,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
