Position Overview

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading the store to deliver outstanding customer service, meeting all operational objectives, and following company policies and procedures. This role also includes assisting the Assistant Store Manager in store operations and managing the team in the absence of the Store Manager.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain exemplary customer service and build customer relationships
  • Establish a strong customer service culture
  • Support the Assistant Store Manager in achieving store goals
  • Develop and motivate team members to exceed customer expectations
  • Ensure compliance with regulations
  • Perform responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative, including transaction processing, cash drawer maintenance, and cash handling
  • Coach Customer Service Representatives on superior customer service and compliance
  • Review and approve checks within limits
  • Support store marketing efforts
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Manage schedules, cash, and store audits
  • Review Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of one year of management experience in industries like hospitality, financial services, retail, and restaurant
  • Willingness to engage with customers and develop positive relationships
  • Strong desire to support corporate initiatives and inspire excellence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • High energy, collaborative management experience
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • English fluency required; English/Spanish bilingual preferred

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance
  • Able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and handle frequent interruptions
