Shift Manager Maintenance
Summary Of Responsibilities
Supervise and direct hourly employees.
Assign manpower and equipment as necessary to repair and upgrade mill equipment.
Direct both planned preventative maintenance activities and work through equipment breakdown scenarios.
Implement the safety program’s goals to ensure a safe work environment.
Identify problem(s), gather the appropriate information, and analyze in an effective manner.
Minimum Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED.
- 2-5 years supervising maintenance employees in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Analytic skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills.
- Work in a 24/7 environment that includes working rotating shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in union environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in maintenance and mobile equipment repair.
