Shift Manager

Requirements

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
• Monitor performance during the shift, take corrective actions as needed, and ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards.
• Maintain safety, security, and profitability of the shift.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets set for the shift and assist in meeting Department goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Ensure quality food production and exceptional customer service.
• Manage crew effectively and efficiently.
• Perform food safety checks internally.
• Manage scheduling and staff assignments.
• Train new and existing employees.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
• Age 18 or older to be eligible to work as a manager in a corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurant.
