About the role
The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant, ensuring high-quality service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks including planning shifts, monitoring performance, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and training staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness
- Plan and monitor performance during shifts
- Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
- Meet and help meet departmental targets
- Manage crew and handle food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
- Manage quality food production and exceptional customer service
- Ensure safety and security
- Schedule staff
- Train crew members
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
- Must be 18 years or older
