Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, and performing various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, and communicating with the next shift leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead important internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
• Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results
• Partner with restaurant team to ensure safe and efficient operations of the restaurant

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants

Qualifications

Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace, strong customer service and support focus, and the ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs are required.
