Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift
• Maintain performance during the shift
• Take actions to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Meet targets during their shift
• Help assigned Departments meet their goals
• Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, and scheduling
• Train crew members

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate-owned restaurant
